On Wednesday 21st July 1937, William Finnemore was fined 10s for driving a car on Newmarket Road, Norwich, on 16th June when not licensed to drive.

William Joseph Finnemore was summoned Monday 22nd November 1937 of failing to keep a dog under control between sunrise and sunset on 10th October and of allowing a dog to be on the highway without a collar bearing the name and address of the owner. He received a fine of 2s 6d for each offence.

On Monday 5th December 1938, William Finnemore was summoned for failing to deliver up a Road Fund licence within seven days when required to do so by the local taxation authority; also for using a motor vehicle without a Road Fund licence, at Hockham on 28th October.
Finnemore had paid by cheque for the Road Fund licence, but the cheque was dishonoured and he had failed to return the licence in the required time.
A fine of 10s on each case and 2s 1d costs.
