A Petition before an Attleborough Judge, April 1859 (Protection from Bankruptcy) was due to receive final order in Court 9th June
1859.
William Edwards described as Publican, Common Carrier, Draper and Licensed
Hawker.
Part of the Live and Dead Farming Stock, Household Furniture and
Miscellaneous Effects of the late Mr. J. F. Edwards was to be Sold by
Auction Monday, 14th October 1895 upon the instruction from the
Administrators.
The Stock included 2 Polled Cows, 2 Sows, 10 Store Pigs, about 5 Tons of
Hay, Horse Hoe, 10 large Poplar Trees varying from 20 to 50 feet, as well as
tables, chests of drawers, chairs, washstands, dinner service, meat safe,
&c. &c.
On Thursday 5th March 1896, All of the Live and Dead Stock of Jeremiah
Edwards, Deceased, In Bankruptcy, was to be sold.
Included were the Stock-in-trade of a Wheelwright, Carpenter and Blacksmith.
The Live Stock included 7 Horses, 2 Red and White Steers, Sow, 11 Pigs, 12
Fowls. There were Carts, Landaus, Tumbrels, Ploughs, Harrows. The Household
Furniture included the contents of 7 Bed-rooms, Club-room, Bar and Kitchen,
a Bagatelle Board and 7-octave Pianoforte Offered To Let,
24th February 1896, with 6 Acres of Grass and 7 Acres of Arable Land.
