The final lot  (No. 28) in sale of Coltishall Brewery 21st May 1796.  `The lease of all that Public House.....with appurtenances thereto belonging, of which the lease there will be four years unexpired at Michaelmas next, at the yearly reserved rent of £10/10/-, but which has been lately accepted at only £9/10/-.'

By 1851 the house is listed as Freehold, owned by George Morse
