	In April 1801 a large quantity of foreign spirits were seen floating off the coast of Happisburgh. Some labouring men retrieved the booty and drank to excess. So much so that one of them died the next day and two others nearly lost their lives.
	It was announced that there would be property auction at OLLEY'S TAVERN, Happisburgh on 7th October 1782
