A fire broke out in an outhouse of the Garden House on 14th March 1782 and completely destroyed it. (No mention of beer)

Beer Shop For Sale by Auction as advertised 7th April 1838. Fronting the High Road from Harleston to Bungay. One of four cottages at Redenhall, together with about one Acre of Land, exceedingly well planted with fruit trees of about 20 years growth. Occupants of the four properties given as Samuel Allen, John Sewells, Robert Wiskins and Edward Sturman.

For Sale by Auction Wednesday 3rd June 1840 along with three cottages adjoining. The occupants were Samuel Allen, John Sewell, Robert Wiskin and Edward Sturman.

Location `between Harleston and Lush Bush, near the Gas Works'.

Rosetta, the second child of John and Harriet Pearl, was baptised at Redenhall, 10th May 1863.

The body of a new born child was found in a ditch near the Garden House, Saturday 11th February 1871. It had apparently been washed down from the town by the floods of the previous day.
