Three Messuages, or Tenements and a piece of land named the "Allotment" were sold by Auction, at the New Inn, Monday, 28th November 1836. ~ Mr. George Penson won a prize of 3s for his display of six rose blossoms at the Hockwold -Cum-Wilton Horticultural Show, Wednesday, 26th July 1899. He repeated the same success at the Show held Thursday, 2nd August 1900. |
