Conveyed to Bells Brewery or their Ancestors 10th October 1796.
On Wednesday 26th October 1838, five persons were on a fishing trip on
the motor boat Coronet, which was in collision with a Scottish drifter
in the mouth of warmouth Harbour. All the men were rescued from the from
the Coronet before it sank. Mr. G. Kidd and his son, F. W. Kidd were
among the party.
Freehold sold to Steward & Patteson 28th June 1865
and conveyed by John Penrice Bell, Frederick Brown & Frederick John Turner to Henry
Staniforth Patteson and Donald Steward 9th April 1866.
S&P records state that the
house was damaged by enemy action during WWII, no exact date given.
