Mrs Mercy Gray, wife of C. E. Gray, died at  the Le Strange Arms and Golf Links Hotel, 30th January 1937, age 63.

Charles Ernest Gray is "Hotel Proprietor" of the Lodge Hotel, Old Hunstanton, in February 1940 and January 1943. He is residing at at the Le Strange Arms and Golf Links Hotel.
Each time he applied for a licence to sell alcohol, on and off the premises.
It seems he was unsuccessful.
