John Prime, labourer of Horstead was charged at the Petty Sessions of 14th
February 1920 of consuming certain intoxicating liquor on the premises at
such hours as prohibited by the Order made by the Central Control Board (Liquor Traffic) under the Defence Of The Realm Regulations. He had been
found by the police drinking in the Adam & Eve after hours on the 6th
February. Deputy Chief Constable Welcome William Basham informed the court
of the matter.
It seems Mr Prime was fined 10/-.
The licensee, William Rust, suffered a fine of £5
Morgans sales 1960 were :-

Closed 13th January 1969 according to Bullards records,
but the Licence Registers state closed and sold 16th January 1970 and
