Probably renamed by John Neech, who advertised the RAMPANT HORSE for Sale, Michaelmas 1796.
Described as with good stables and other convenient outhouses, about half an acre of garden ground, planted with choice Fruit Trees and bushes; and a meadow adjoining, containing about an acre and a half; with right of commonage on two commons adjoining, or near said premises.
