Beerhouse keeper. Found guilty, July 1839 of receiving clothing, a
coat and gaiters, stolen from Mr. Frederick Lowe of Mileham. He had
been fined in the past for keeping his house open late. Several
witnesses said he was of good character. His lordship said
that his character, "counted for nothing" and sentenced Skelton to
transportation for Seven Years. |
