The Brewery of Mr. Lindsey sought to
employ Two good Workmen, Journeymen Coopers, for a period of two or
three months, in making casks - February 1813.

For Sale by Auction, Saturday 30th July 1825, late the property of Mr.
William Lindsey, deceased.
The sale being a valuable and complete Farm which included a capital
Dwelling-house, a Brewing-office with Vat and Store-rooms, a
Malting-office with kiln of 25 coombs steep, Barley Chambers and
Counting-room; a Farm-house (let as Cottages), Barns, Stables, Granary;
also Yards, Gardens, Orchard and about 150 Acres of very rich Arable and
Pasture Land.
The Brewery fitted up a few years since at great expense, and a very
extensive and lucrative retail malt trade being carried on.
Situated near the Church.

For Sale by Auction, Thursday, 27th
April 1848, the Capital Brewing Plant complete, Malting and Brewing
utensils, quantity of valuable Beer Casks, Double-brested Van on steel
springs, Dog Cart, two Square Carts, two Tumbrels, two Ploughs, and a
quantity of Farming Implements. Also eight Ash Timbers, and one Willow
Tree, the property of the late Mr. William Pilch.
