On Saturday 9th July 1955, the Darts Club presented Mrs Poppy
Bloomfield with an electric table lamp, at her farewell party.

Licensee William Green was accused at the Petty Sessions of
22nd November 1909 of being drunk on licensed premises.
The magistrates dismissed the case. At the hearing Mr. Green claimed that he
had been at the house for 27 years, this was confirmed by S&P.
