Owned by Reuben Tuck according to Auction document dated 22nd October 1787. Recorded under Downham in 1794 Licence Register. Listed in deed dated March 1820 when conveyed from Cornelius P. Herbert to George Hogg & Thomas Allen. As at North Delph 1836. ~ At an inquest held at Banham on Thursday 10th September 1846 into the death of 46 year old Ann Scarf, it was heard that she had been living some time with a man named Terrington, who kept the Swan at Nordelph. She had returned to Banham a fortnight previously in a very weak state and complained of not having been treated as she could wish. She had admitted to a miscarriage and that her master was the father of the child. Her death was attributed to the miscarriage, her subsequent illness and her removal in an unfit state. Her master was severely reprimanded and his conduct designated as highly reprehensible. ~ For Sale Tuesday, 29th June 1954 upon the instructions of Bullard & Sons Ltd. A double fronted Dwelling House, formerly known as the Swan Inn. Immediate vacant possession. ~ Also referenced as at Stow Bardolph.
