A Post Windmill, standing on the land of Edward Cooke was to be Sold by
Auction Wednesday, 24th April 1833.
The purchaser was to remove the mill on or before the 10th May....

Norfolk Chronicle - 9th & 16th March 1839
reported the forthcoming auction..... OVINGTON
To be Sold by Auction by Robert Baley at the Cock Inn, at Ovington on
Tuesday 19 March instant at 4 o'clock.
A Cottage or Tenement situate in Ovington in the county of Norfolk within
a mile of Watton, now used as a
Beer-house and occupied by Jane Cook, widow,
with a Building capable of containing 2 or 3 scores of corn, Stable, Cart
lodge and other conveniences, Garden and Land adjoining, containing
together about half an acre, together with a POST WINDMILL driving two
pairs of French Stones abreast 4 ft. 4 ins. and 4 ft. flour mill, jumper
and all other requisite machinery and going gears, late in the occupation
of Mr. Waters.
The Premises are all Freehold and Possession of the Mill and Outbuildings
may be had immediately and of the Cottage at Old Michaelmas next.

carried the following modified information.....

House, licensed to sell beer, were to be Sold by Auction.
