The Brewers, Gardeners and other workmen employed at
the premises of Messrs, Bircham of Reepham, were treated on the firm,
with a holiday trip to Yarmouth. At about three o'clock in the morning of Friday 9th September 1864, between forty and fifty persons started in vans and carriages, accompanied by the band and after a hearty breakfast in Norwich, proceeded by train to Yarmouth where varied attractions afforded them great pleasure. The heartily thankful group reached home about 11 p.m. |
