WILLIAM FISH |
It was reported 7th October 1871 that
Mr. Fish had an out-door licence, but on 3rd September had persons
drinking just outside his house. The charge was that he had allowed drinking
on his premises, contrary to the Act of Parliament. The Bench held that
he had no right to allow beer to be drunk in the manner mentioned and
fined him £1 and 14s costs.
On 30th December 1871 it was reported that William FISHER had allowed
persons to drink beer on his premises. His defence was that he had
treated some men who had been working for him and was unaware that it
was unlawful. He was cautioned by the Bench and ordered to pay costs
