The Buck 1921 A visiting aunt with Alfred Wright's children - Myrtle & Noel. Image provided by Keith Wright. At the Petty Sessions held Monday 8th February 1864, James Kendall, publican and blacksmith pleaded guilty to assaulting his wife Louisa, in a `most fearful violent manner'. He had hit her about the head and face with his leather apron. He was committed to gaol for two calendar months and upon his release to find bail of £50 and two sureties of £25. On Monday 16th March 1936 the licensing justices recommend the transfer of licence from the Buck to the KIT KAT restaurant in Hunstanton. |
