William Webster given as Shoemaker and Beerhouse in 1864, Beer Retailer in 1865, 1869, 1875, 1877 and 1879. Elizabeth Webster given at this house in 1891 as housekeeper to Mr. Webster. The property being described as a Beerhouse. The 1911 census gives Mr. Webster as late farmer and Off Beer licence holder. William Webster died 22nd May 1916, leaving his Effects to Elizabeth, value £515 7s 9d. The licence was transferred to her on Monday 3rd July 1916. Not mentioned in 1925 or 1929 trade directories. |
