On 11th June 1877 it was heard that three persons had been found drinking in the house at 3:30 in the morning of 5th June. Mr. Robert Mack, who could neither read or write, said that he believed he could serve anybody who lived within three miles of his house. The Chairman said that his belief was proof of how unfit he was to hold a licence. Case adjourned in order that the owners, Messrs Eyre & Co. could be written to. In 1878 Mr. Robert Mack is described as a fisherman. It was reported February 1909 that the bar was 14 feet by 12 feet. Trade was 101 barrels per year and 4 to 5 dozen minerals were sold per week. Full licence granted 8th March 1954 upon removal from the THREE HORSESHOES, Wiggenhall St. Mary. Morgans sales for 1960 were :- 86 barrels of beer 19 spirits (gallons) Bullards confirmed to the Licensing Authorities, in a letter dated 26th

that the house would be sold de-licensed |
