Messrs. Hogge & Seppings purchased the property from Augustus Micklefield in September 1918. The property had formerly been owned by his sister, Miss Ida Micklefield, who had died intestate, on 30th December 1909.
Miss Micklefield had been left the property by the will of Kate Farrar Bird who had died on 30th January 1906.


Licence expired 23rd July 1932.

Letter from Bullards dated 23rd July 1932 states :
`We have today opened the LONGE ARMS, Spixworth, and this licence has automatically lapsed.'
