In 1883 Henry Medlock is given by White as a baker & beer retailer in Ash Close. Kelly only gives him as a baker. |
William Buckenham is given as a stonemason at 16 Ash Close in 1871 - no mention of beer. Full licence transferred from the TUNS, Great Snoring, 11.02.1957 Morgans sales for 1960 were :- 164 barrels of beer & 25 spirits 47 barrels of draught beer plus 36 (barrels) of bottled beer sold in the final year of trading. Closure said to be due to `ill health'. |
