The Commissioners for the Tacolneston Inclosure met here Monday 14th September 1778 to hear the claims of the Owners and Proprietors of certain Common Right Messuages and Cottages who where entitled to Rights of Common and Waste Land within the parish.
A further meeting on 15th September to ascertain and fix the boundaries between the parish and the adjoining parishes.
