Mr. Cyril Alfred Brumfit of the Central Hotel was charged, Thursday 1st February 1934 of leaving his car in Guildhall Street, Thetford, without lights. Case dismissed on payment of costs of 4s. |
1987 It was heard at the Licensing Session, Thursday 6th March 1930 that Mrs. Brumfitt had purchased the Central Hotel about 10 years previously and now sought to obtain an excise licence for the benefit of her guests. There would be no bar trade. The Reverend Lowry, the ministers of the town and two Anglican clergymen objected to the licence. Application refused.
