Described as a Beer House when offered for sale by Private Contract June 1849 following the death of owner Mr.
Thomas Stebbings, Mr. Ellis then in occupation. Three Quarters of an Acre of
adjoining Land included.
Lot No. 21 in the sale of the Diss Lower Brewery Thursday 30th March 1876.
Purchased by Youngs, Crawshay & Co.
On Friday 2nd July 1943, the Small Holding consisting of a Cottage,
Pasture Land, Capital Boarded Buildings, in all 1a. 1r. 17p, the
property of Mr. George Turner, were to be Sold by Auction. Location near
the Boot and Vacant Possession at 11th October 1943.
