No. 550 on 1845 Magistrates list.
|
Mary Harris was discovered on Sunday 28th December 1869, by
Police-constable Hindry, to be serving beer to a man called Denny at
seven o'clock in the morning. Pleading that she had erred in ignorance
and in the thirty-six years she had been at the house, there had never
been any previous complaint, she was fined 1s and 7s costs.
Certificate dropped 1882
