The General Court Baron, for the Manors of Twyford, Swanton's, Foxley and Southall in Guist were held here Wednesday 29th January 1777. Tenants of the said Manors were required to attend and perform their Suits and Services, and pay their Quit-Rents; All those entitled to be admitted to any Copyhold Lands and Tenements were required to do the same. ~ Offered for Sale June, and again October 1779, then let at £7 7s per Annum. ~ Publick-house offered for sale by auction at the Ship, Foulsham, Thursday 4th November 1779. Included in the sale of Effects of Mr. Robert Augustine Holl, of Twyford Hall. ~ Sale included Furniture of Mr. Holl's Dwelling House plus all of the Real Estates, consisting of the Manors of Twyford, Swanton and South-hall in Guist; the perpetual Advowson of the Rectory of Twyford, two Farms, a Cottage in Twyford, and two Acres of Land in Bintry.
