It was announced 18th March 1809 that the premises were to be let on a lease
of 14 years since the proprietor was retiring from business.
"Considered to be one of the best beer houses in the neighbourhood".
On the 25th March 1809 it was announced that the house was no longer to
let, having been disposed of.
