For Sale by Auction Friday 10th June 1859, with Stable Outbuildings and about 3 Acres of very productive Arable Land, in occupation of Mr. J. Chaplin.

On Monday 8th August 1904, Robert Thacker was questioned as to why he was not contributing 1s 6d per week towards the upkeep of his father, who was an inmate of the County Asylum. This amount he had been paying until 26th December 1903, but owing to his wife becoming ill, the Guardians had excused payment until 26th March and then extended the exemption to 25th June 1904. Thacker was a pig dealer and publican, he also farmed some 6 or seven acres of land. His wife was still ill and the public house trade was bad, he drew no more than about half a barrel a week. He offered to pay 1s a week and the Bench made an order for that amount.

Licence considered unnecessary at the Annual Brewster Sessions, Monday 6th February 1905. Renewal to be considered at the adjourned meeting.....

Provisional licence issued 5th February 1906, at Swaffham Licensing Sessions, since Compensation had not been paid in accordance with decisions made in 1905.
Licence to be null and void seven days after compensation paid.

Offered for sale (With 3 other houses)  24th May 1906
for a total sum of £1750

Not mentioned in 1908 directory.

In 1915 Robert Thacker is still living at the premises - `Late Kings Head'.
