Referenced as being at Tinklers Corner 1851 & 1861

Renamed TINKERS HOTEL in 1967 following closure of the railway and full take-over by Watney Mann.

Dates for the name change vary :-
A Bullards source gives 12th January 1966
but the licence register shows 5th January 1967.
