(The Lamb & Flag is the crest of Merchant Tailors).

In 1825, a Miss Horn attempted to gain possession of the Lamb & Flag under the will of her farther. It was discovered that the property was "entailed", which limited the inheritance over a number of generations within a particular family.

The Household Furniture of William Lock was For Sale by Public Competition, Monday, October 8th, 1848.

Part of the Union Brewery Estate, offered for sale by auction Wednesday 25th July 1866 but after only reaching £770, remained unsold.

Tenants sought, May 1954.
