Location 1836 given as near lime kiln.
It was reported 9th July 1856 that the evils of the usual harvest home
activities had been `considerably mitigated in Mr. Hammond's parish
since he had taken the most radical means to put them down - viz., by
closing down the only public house in Westacre.'
Full licence granted after 1962, before 1966.
Worth finding.
Keg beer only 1998,
but handpumps by 2003.
Refurbished by January 2024 offering keg conditioned
beers and an "upmarket" food menu.
