On Friday 15th May 1885, 44 year old William Youngs, landlord of the
Estuary Beerhouse, was crushed and killed by a landslip on the loop
line which was being made from Bawsey to saddlebow by the Eastern
and Midlands Railway Company.

to at least 1872. It was also recorded as such in 1881.
Given as the NORFOLK ESTUARY 1854 & 1879.
Also found as the NORFOLK ESTUARY HOTEL.
Included in the Borough of Kings Lynn under the Norfolk Review
Order of 1935.
