It was reported 2nd October 1813 that William Tyrrell, Shop and
Alehouse-keeper had been fined the full penalty, with costs, of
hindering the Inspector of Weights and Balances. The Magistrates at Hethel had also fined 3 Shopkeepers, 1 Miller and 6 Blacksmiths in the Forehoe Hundred, for having false weights and balances. |
