Shown on Bryant's 1826 map.
On 25th August 1886, Joseph Buttery served beer to men going to harvest
a field, early in the morning. These were prohibited hours and before
the magistrates on 6th September, he was fined a total of 16s, including
costs and advised to obtain an extension licence for the harvest season. |
