  It was reported Saturday, 15th January 1916

Mr. Joes Graves, of the Britannia Tavern, St. Augustine’s, Norwich, has six sons, of whom five are serving in his Majesty’s forces, while the sixth, a lad of 14, is a Boy Scout. They are Robert, a sergeant in the East Anglian Brigade. R.F.A;  George, chief petty officer in the Grand Fleet; Joseph, a private in the Norfolk Regiment; Sidney, Canadian Contingent; and Arthur, 2nd East Anglian Field Ambulance. Joseph was wounded at Mons, and taken prisoner.

Joseph Noonan applied, on Monday 24th August 1891, for a music and singing licence in order to protect himself, he being a musician and supplementing his income as a publican by instructing pupils - Granted.

Stood on the North side of Botolph Street opposite Guildencroft.

Licence provisionally refused 11th February 1936 and referred to Compensation.
