George Tooke was named Monday 21st March 1842 as an insolvent and owing
Gt. Yarmouth wine & spirit dealer, James Pratt, £10 6s for goods
delivered 1st April 1841 for which he had originally promised to pay
cash on delivery and then within a month and then whenever possible. It
was found that Mr. Tooke had executed a deed of assignment of all the
furniture in his house, several years previously and had five other
claims against him.
Mr. Tooke was remanded for five months from the date of the vesting
order.
