Cockfighting was to take place at the house of Samuel Dawson, the DUKES HEAD, 21st and 22nd March 1757.

Mr. Dawson is given as the DUKE 1760 - 1764 whist a different licensee is given at the DUKES HEAD in the same records 1760 - 1763.
