And (Lot 3.) a piece of Garden Ground, behind Lot 2, of about 51 feet by 57 feet in length, well calculated for building upon.

For Sale by Auction Thursday 13th October 1853.
Location given as Opposite St. Ann's Staithe Lane, King Street.

A new licence was issued 28.12.1897 to other premises in the same street, some 30 yards to the South of the old position.
The old premises were about to be pulled down for public improvement.

Reputed to have been known as the `PIG & TINDERBOX '.

The Winkle Club met here in the 1930's
