A display of most beautiful carnations, a great variety of new and well grown flowers were to be on show at Mr. Francis Bullock's, the Flower In Hand, from Monday 21st July 1747.

A similar show of such flowers was to be displayed on Monday 5th August 1748, where their humble servant Francis Bullock would give a hearty welcome to all Gentlemen and Others.

Other shows of carnations were held Monday 27th August 1749 and again Monday 12th August 1751.

John Lark is given at the Flower In Hand Gardens,
12 Tooley Street in 1783

The house was engaged for Freeholders, the Friends of Sir Edward Astley, Bart. and Thomas William Coke, Esq. on Wednesday 14th April 1784, being the Day of Election. (One of 53 such houses in Norwich)

Early in the week of 6th November 1819, some villains entered the premises of J. Woolterton and took between 7 and 700 feet of 2½" oak  scantling in 11 feet lengths. Although carried away in bright moonlight, the thieves got clear away. The scantling, being of peculiar shape, having been cut out of old baulks, wrought with mouldings, could be easily identified by those who sawed it.

Listed at 15 Tooley Street in early directories to 1854

Located between St. Martins Lane and Cattermoules Yard.

Damaged by enemy action 27/29.04.1942

Morgans sales for 1960 were :-
105 barrels of beer.
41 (gallons) of spirits.

Closed 01.12.1965 under Bullard & Sons.
