George Barrett is given at Howard Street, Grove Place, Upper Surrey Road in 1842.

Benjamin Wurr is given at an un-named beerhouse in Howard Street in 1854.

Mr. Robert Ray, chairman (of the Patriotic Fund?) at Mr. Wordingham's, Grapes Tavern, Lakenham, raised £1 1s for said fund, as reported 9th December 1854.
This donation, and many others, added some £250.
( A total of £2,179 13s 7½d had been reported the previous week as the Norwich contribution to the fund, the contribution from the rest of Norfolk being £821 15s 7d)

Mr. Wurr = Mr. Wordingham?

The Chief Constable objected to licence renewal at the 1906 Sessions.
The problems were `merely structural matters' and if agreeable changes were started on, or carried out before the adjourned Brewster Sessions, then the objections would be withdrawn.

Licence provisionally refused 13.02.1914 and referred to Compensation.
Closed under Compensation 31.12.1914.
