![]() 1997 The ruins of an old chapel of St Michael were apparently used during Kett's Rebellion (1549), as headquarters and became known as Kett's Castle. This public house later adopted that name. Damaged by bombing 27th - 29th April 1942 Became the OLD BILL after 1976 Renamed KETTS TAVERN from c1980
