Licensees only identified 1760 to 1763 The Norfolk Chronicle of 12th August 1780 records that Thomas Maddle, alias Thomas Howes received the death sentence at the assizes, for stealing a horse from the door of the Maids Head, Heigham. The horse was the property of Richard Smith. (Maddle was subsequently reprieved) |
