Located between Scoles Green and Paradise Row. Licence given special consideration August 1867 owing to past improper conduct and in consequence, refused. Harriett Watts applied for a licence Tuesday 24th August 1869. It appears that she had been trading as a beerhouse and sought re-instatement of a spirit licence. At some time she had been in custody, but discharged by the magistrates, she had been at the house for ten years. Licence refused. Richard Daniels applied for a Wine and Spirit licence, Monday 23rd August 1880. It was heard that the house had once held a full licence, but "through some irregularity", it had been allowed to lapse. Address as Paradise Place in 1871 Address as 24 Market Lane until 1908.
