Application for full licence made Tuesday 2nd September 1856 by Samuel Attle
(Un-named house)
- Refused.
At the Annual Licensing Sessions held Monday 23rd August 1858 it was
heard that Joseph Barber had been ordered to pay the costs for having
been found selling beer during prohibited hours on a Sunday, during
November 1857, two weeks
after receiving his licence. However since that event, the house had
been well conducted and a spirit licence had been taken out. Licence
renewal granted.
