
Seemingly trading as a beerhouse 1861 - 1863 by the
name of the JOLLY GARDENERS.
Licence application made Friday 9th September 1861, by Israel Blyth,
refused.
At the 1863 Licensing Session it was heard that there was a numerously
signed memorial against the application of Mr. Blyth for a licence.
With a testimonial signed by 72 persons supporting his application and a
memorial against, signed by 49 owners and occupiers of property in the
vicinity, Mr. Israel Blyth was granted a full licence at the Sessions
held Tuesday 30th August 1864.
