A former 17thC merchants house.

George Hilton announced that he was leaving the PRINCE OF WALES  25th September 1813 and would open the PLOUGH on Wednesday 29th September 1813 following it being fitted up in a comfortable and commodious style.

Damaged by enemy action 27/29.04.1942.

Closed summer 2009.

Re-opened April 2010 as the first house to be owned by the
Grain Brewery (Established at Alburgh 2007)
