The COCK
had an entrance at 32 King Street and one at the rear of the premises, on Crown Road
With the neighbouring ex-Agricultural Hall becoming the headquarters and studios for
Anglia Television in the early 1960's the bar of the COCK, on
Crown Road, soon became known as STUDIO FOUR.
Hosted the Riverside Jazz Club in 1960's (ex THORPE
GARDENS)
The Norwich Folk Club formed here in mid 1960's.
Closed in 1983 and used to the 1990's as a
private social club by Anglia Television.
