Appears in Ninhams 1791 illustration of Magdalen Street Gate. An application was made Saturday 22nd August 1891, by John Cook, for a music and singing licence for the bar. The application was declined since the sanitary accommodation was unsatisfactory. Also found as the SWAN INN. 103 barrels of beer sold in the final year of trading. Closed 1964 |
