An inquest into the death of 48 year old James Frary was held here
Monday 18th September 1843. Living near the Wellington, Frary was a regular customer and had been served beer the previous day by
licensee William Drane. Ten minutes after leaving the house he had
apparently fallen down in a fit, at the house of Mr. Stebbings, three doors
away and had died within five minutes.

February 1929 and referred to Compensation.
